Koren brings over 23 years of leadership experience in academia as well as business. Koren specializes in working with business owners to align with their values so they can be effective leaders in their business as well as their own life.
Koren is the Executive Director of a non-profit, and the host of a radio show with a world wide audience. As a certified Martha Beck Coach and Daring Way™ facilitator, Koren works with individuals to be the leaders in their own life so they can do meaningful work.
Koren believes we can learn from others to see what is possible for ourselves. When ordinary people share the honest backstage truth behind their success, the doors of possibility open for all of us.
As a coach and the host of How She Really Does It, Koren holds weekly conversations with guests who represent their own unique version of success. Over the past 8 years and 400 + episodes, she has interviewed thought leaders like Brené Brown, Martha Beck, Daniel Pink, and Danielle LaPorte, as well as hundreds of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. In hearing their stories, she invites people to ask themselves, “If that is possible for them, what is possible for me?”
As one coaching client put it, Koren has “the gift and the ability to cut through the fluff, get to the heart of it, and make it doable, accessible, and sustainable.” She is is beloved for her work with people in the throws of transition: weight loss, divorce, career change, relationships – especially the relationship with yourself.
When she is not rocking the airwaves or coaching clients, you can find her coaching the local swim team, the AquaMonsters, doing Bikram Yoga, hiking with her family, enjoying coffee with a good friend, or watching some great and salacious TV.
